Carousel is a VR experience inspired by a dream. It takes the viewer through a shifting forest that gradually leads to a pink carousel. Through surreal visuals, spatial sound, and the immersive nature of VR, the work evokes the sensation of entering a dream.

Streetlight upon a Streetlight upon a Streetlight is an experimental storytelling piece built in Unreal Engine. The viewer enters a space of total darkness, where fragments of the world gradually emerge through particles as light, motion, and sound trace the outlines of what might be real or remembered.
As the viewer moves forward, a voice begins to narrate a stream of consciousness, a dream that unfolds in parallel with the scene. The words and the world echo one another, both half-submerged in memory, both searching for coherence.

A Wasted Diary
Between late October and November of 2024, Pengsongmao went through a period of intense pain and disorientation. Surrounded by confusion and dizziness, they wrote a series of diaries, embedding their chaotic thoughts into both related and unrelated fragments of daily life.
When they finally woke from this dark dream, Pengsong began gathering the scattered pieces of their emotions, as if picking up fragments of themselves scattered across time and space. They realized that what they were feeling could not be contained by a single painting or a piece of writing, and decided to document it in a different form.
This virtual space grew out of those diaries—an attempt to give shape to memory, emotion, and recovery.
